I agree with Exranger. There is a whole novel about this in a thread. All the way down to the molecular structure of recommended products. It gets into the details of the details. My answer, what ever works for you. If you like waxing, buy cheap. If you want something that lasts a year and you can burn lighter fluid on top of the paint, buy expensive.

Same thing i use on every car I own. Nothing. My 9 year old F150, which is parked outside still looks brand new. So does all of my other cars.

Maverick paint is like a car, much weaker than my 11 y.o. f150.

Same thing as Jah. 😊

That, and CeraKote ceramic paint & trim sealants. 9 months & many truck washes after application and water still beads up on it.

Walmart and the amazonian thing both sell it.

I had a ceramic coating done on both the paint and glass. At 1st, it felt simply like a good wax job. But then I noticed, the Ponderosa Pine sap that we all get up here in the Arizona mountains, simply came off with just a damp microfiber cloth. Then a good monsoon rainstorm came and went and I was driving at the time, and by the time I got home, my little beast was clean as a whistle, except for the front and side glass. Also, all the little bugs up here don't stick to the front bumper at all...A simple wipe of that damp microfiber and they're gone. Was well worth the 1k I paid for the service

Use a ceramic. Many to choose from. Don't believe wild claims on many years. .The pro installs do last longer BUT highly doubt past 2 years. 1 year at best for self applied stuff protection. Apply again. I do twice a year. Don't waste your time with WAX. unless it has ceramic in it too. Wax at best lasts a month. Tested many kinds years ago.

For those who claim nothing my paint looks new. Yea sure it does Buddy is like that His f-150 looks like primer. its a 2016. Assuming its not garaged most of the time. His is not ever.
