Just curious why You wouldn't trade the 24 and 25 fwd Hybrid in for the 2026 AWD Lariat Hybrid?
The 25 is hybrid fwd drive, after having it the 24 radio/nav seemed outdated.

I've liked every maverick I've had, just compromised or market changed on every one.

The one im trading was first maverick I ordered because wanted AWD, and at time had to get 2.0.

So when I went to order it the dealer had a 23 lariet hybrid fwd I could buy to use and either keep or trade when ordered one came in......I loved it but still traded it for the awd when it came in.

Last year I decided to trade suv for 2nd maverick so got 25 xlt hybrid fwd.....love it but penny penched and didn't get upgraded interior so no power seat....which weren't comfortable adjusted and ended up buying a seat cushion. As well none the previous 3 had adaptive cruise which all my suvs have had.

So as of now this is my ideal maverick on order, so hopefully will keep it longer, and 25 would be next trade anyway.......but won't be long till maverick probally gets new makeover lol

Though will say from first 23 lariet with sliding glass, I'll miss it a bit. On spring fall days opening back glass and cracking windows gave good air circulation/cooling

There is not anything in the 25 I like better than my 24.
I do not like or want a bigger infotainment screen.
I wish it was a slot that I could put my 10th gen IPad in. And remove as needed.

I miss a clean dashboard and I do not need to be entertained.
I got liquor and women for that.
:’P

Don’t like the 25’s front end look either, personal choice, matters little.

I really like my the Maverick, I do not like the useless, senseless over engineering over complexity of the vehicle systems.

Just more shit to break. But I’ll drive it under my extended warranty and replace it before I hit 100,000 miles.

The way price increases are going my next Mav just might be a stripped XL.

Non of these trucks are worth $50,000 and the only reason for this is people will pay it.
They/them charge all that the market will pay.

If I had my way, I'd upgrade to a Lariat just for the adaptive Cruise. As humans we all make decisions based on balancing the combination of necessity, rationality, wants, emotion, and ability in all areas of our lives. As of now rationality and necessity are winning out because the financial ability isn't there. But if I had the finances, I'm not gonna lie. Emotion and wants would play a bigger role . And I'd get that Lariat. But I'd probably try to find a leftover 2025 simply because I don't want to wait months to get a vehicle once I decide to get it.😃

I thought my 2024 Lariat AWD Ecoboost was well worth the $36,000 I paid.
It was 12/31/24.
The 2025 Lariats were $40-42,000 and the 2024 Tremors were still $42,000
The 25 Tremor was $43,000
At that time.

They say the average price of a new vehicle is north of 50K now, so you could view your purchase as a good deal.

To each their own, but after using both over a year I prefer the larger newer one. And the 24 XLT didn't have wireless connectivity....,.....

The maverick trims trying to maintain low cost point seems bit quirky to me.........like short of Lariet no adaptive cruise, wireless phone connectivity or with 26's even wireless charging pad (though cheap aftermarket pads available).....…...things that are rather standard across trims in other vehicles or other comparable price points.

Yeah I dig my Lariat toys but I will say surface charging my much liked IPhone 16 is never gonna happen. Phones in a Kevlar pelican case and staying in it.
Heat is the phone batteries worst enemy.
First time was the last time I used the surface charger in my Lariat,
Phone got hot and that was that.
Is there a separate fuse I could pull ?
I’d like to lay my phone there when plugged in charging or streaming.

Yesterday I took my 24 turbo awd for oil change, out of curiosity I asked what he would offer for trade, he shot back a number I thought was rather hard to refuse.

So currently have the 24, and a 25 hybrid fwd. Love both but after having 25 the 24 interior seems dated, so prefer and been driving 25 more. Both are XLTs. My one regret on 25 was penny pitched and didn't get interior package and non power seats just arnt as comfortable even ended up buying seat cushion........so I've come full circle as my first maverick was a 23 hybrid I traded on turbo awd.

So trading 24 turbo awd and ordered 2026 Lariat Hybrid AWD. It should have everything I want, as none the previous mavericks had adaptive cruise. Haven't got build email yet, but dealer estimated like around February delivery.
Just want to say 'Good Luck, and we're all counting on you.'

BTW, I see that you have a 2004 Ford Escape. I had a 2005 version and I loved that vehicle. I put on 320K miles on it and would have loved to keep it longer except the right rear wheel well rusted out and then the rear shock mounts disintegrated. Common problem on that body style. The newer Ford Escapes didn't do anything for me so I bought the Maverick.
