I am ordering 2024 through Autonation Ford Katy who placed my original 2023 order. And my priorty code is a 19. The guy i am working though says he has no control over the priority assigned. And i know this is the same postion i was in last year. What should i do?

Did he place the order using the same Order number and dealer sales code? Or is it a brand new order?

The order not only has to be the same number, in the exact same name and COVP as the original order. Also, of course at the same dealer. Nice if address and email the same also. This is for a rollover order.

The order code seems to be the same and the name sure didn't change.

Update: I have signed the documents for the order. I hope to speak with the management sometime this week and figure out what channels of communication I can keep with them and Ford so I can be more active in ensuring I get my vehicle in the proper priority and the proper price incentives. I was far too passive this last year and I have read people were changing things on their orders to move them up. So I plan on fighting for what I want this time. Sense Ford can't seem to produce enough of these vehicles to meet the demand.

Priority code only matters within the dealership for priority of build. If all are 19 for that dealership the PC doesn't matter.

For 2023 to 2024 rollover orders the dealer needs to be the same, the order number the same, your name the same, and a new COVP. If that is met Ford will set priority for your order based on the vehicle build (constraints) and dealer allocation each month.

now the dealer says it comes up as 20 - 80, weird .
they had no explanation. Any thoughts out there. thanks.

There are no incentives on a Maverick. At least for the 2023 model year.

Constraints should be less of an issue for '23>'24 rollover orders, vs brand new orders.

Interesting? My code was 19 and I am scheduled for 8/5?

If your dealership manages this correctly it *should mean* that you get built before new 24 orders.
It also means you are top priority among the carryover orders. However if your dealership assigned all carryover orders at 03 then it's not meaningful. You are in "early lottery" with all carryover orders.

Yep. I am. Dealer had 34 carry-over orders. I'm sure we are all the same 03. I got my first lottery ticket last Sept. On to the next lottery. I figure another year or so.

My expectation of the dealership would be to assign priority levels for carryovers based on the time those orders were made. But this seems strangely uncommon.
