I traded my 2010 Ranger for a 2019 Ranger and knew from the start it was a mistake. Too big, too much money, and too old a design. Just traded the Ranger in on a Maverick. It seems to be the right size and, so far, the right fit. It's a Lariat with only 2 options - sun roof and tow package. I was going hold out for a 2025, but that front end is just not doing anything for me. I'll be checking in now and then for advice. So far, so good.

Welcome! Really nice truck with good options. Tow package is good to have even if you don’t plan on towing. Enjoy the truck. You made the right decision on this body style. The 25 front end was a deal breaker for me too.

I had to go with something more thrifty, but it's hard to imagine more of a dream build than an HPR Lariat 4KT. That's out of control, IMO. I think we need to be asking you for advice instead.

Nice truck. I'm partial to that HPR color. Nearly identical to mine except that I went for the BAP. Funny, I absolutely love the BAP on the inside (just couldn't live with the sea of blue everywhere).. Don't like it on the outside (don't like everything blacked out, especially the wheels).

Your truck is beautiful.

Welcome and Congratulations !!!! Think you'll love the truck, Love my MY22 Lariat. I agree with you although the MY25 maverick has some good improvements, that front end flat ass ugly, only thing worse imo would be the Rivian truck front end design. I didn't care for the last general of Rangers body style but I love the new 6th generation Rangers design - opt for the optional 2.7L V6 in it makes it a game changer for its class, I could purchase one of those in a heartbeat if I was in the market for another truck.

Considering the Lariat has everything you can hang on it, I don’t think your Maverick is lacking anything with “only” 2 options. :)

In 2019 I sold my two 1990 Rangers and ordered a new F150 Lariat. As much as I loved the F150, no one else would drive it because it was too big. When the Maverick appeared I ordered one but had to wait 13 months for an XLT Hybrid (wanted a Lariat but in Canada we couldn't order Lariat Hybrids at first). Bought a 2008 Ranger while I waited which I still have, but now like my 24 Lariat Maverick. The old Rangers still are good trucks, but the Maverick is so smooth. Hope you like the Maverick.

I also think the 22-24 front ends have a very well balanced design. 25 looks bad to me.

I really like the color. Glad Ford finally has a real red.
