Just curious if anyone with a hybrid has had to pay the hybrid license fee? I haven’t the last 2 years. Can’t figure out why

We'll see... I've still got the temp plate and waiting for the title to come in to get my hard plate transferred to it. I expect to have to pay it, our other vehicle is am Escape Titanium Hybrid and they get us every year.

Bucyrus here. I got my '24 Lariat Hybrid on 3 January at a dealer in Stow; 3,150 miles and it's pretty much showroom perfect. ALTHOUGH today I discovered a bunch of black fingerprints in several places on the light gray headliner and door trim. Grrrrr.....

I searched on Autotrader.com for quite a while to find what I wanted. SB wouldn't have been my first choice of colors, or my second or third... but the miles, condition, and price were hard to beat, I guess I'll just have to wash it more often.

Just an update: I got the title in today and took it and my old truck registration & plate to BMV to do the transfer. I checked the title before to see if it said HYBRID anywhere on it and it didn't. Sure enough, they just charged an $11 transfer fee but didn't charge the $100-per-year hybrid fee. Looks like it comes down to what the dealer puts on the BoS and what ends up on the title. I was waiting to see if the BMV clerk was going to run the VIN, guess not.

Ohio crew, those who have years on their maverick with ohio salt/brine. is it showing any wear/tear? did you guys get or dont recommend ziebart? I ask because my daily I have has ziebart, and it looks pretty much new. lol. but I paid 400 bucks for lifetime coatings and details, they dont do that anymore.

Mine looked gnarly after 300 miles and I sprayed with Fluid Film before driving.

Welcome to the club and Ohio group. I've had Maverick nearly 3 years now and am appreciative of not being charged the extra fee for having a Hybrid. My Camry Hybrid that I traded in did and I was very surprised that the Mav did not have the same. Can't say why, just keeping it under wraps as much as can be.
