Checked with the dealer today as I have not gotten a window sticker yet. Informed that my build week has been pushed to March 21st.

Have you been to Germain to test drive their EB Maverick? It was nice to finally sit in one and drive it when I went there a week ago. My hybrid currently has an ETA of 3/13.

I was told the hybrid would be charged a higher rate but I only swapped my car's old plate to it and registered it as a passenger vehicle truck. Being a hybrid was never asked and never listed.

There’s supposed to be a BS $100 hybrid fee. I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s a way I can avoid it this first year since my hybrid should come in March and I have an April birthday. Don’t know if I should renew tags now and transfer, or wait til I get the truck to handle it.

If you renew now and transfer I think you will avoid the fee. my birthday is in march so I will have to renew my tags soon. So hopefully I will avoid it also. May do a 2 year tag renewal so I can save 200 dollars.

now if ford would just ship my damn truck! It’s been built since the 16th and I’ve seen people that got built on the 18th already get shipped. Not sure what the holdup is

No, I have not even sat in one. I am going on blind faith (like I did in June when I ordered one) but after reading and living on this forum, I am sure I won't be disappointed. Mine is supposed to be built 3/28.

You can sign up for 750 certificate but not compatible on maverick

I ordered 2 from Montrose in November, The silver XLT EB AWD is built and on its way to Fairlawn, ETA March 11th.

The 2nd one, Hot Pepper Red XLY EB AWD never got scheduled yet,..

Wow, two Mavericks!

Yeah, I'm keeping the Mustang until I can't drive or am dead, whichever comes first. At least I have it in hand and it runs pretty well. Hope to take it to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle in June.

Akron here.
XL, Hybrid, Velocity Blue, carpet, 120v back area console, full spare, and tow hitch. Needed only the basics. Probably will add cruise, heated seats, Tonneau, and spray liner at latter date. Thought I would get it faster this way.

Reserved order though Montrose Ford 11/3/2021 and received confirmed order days later.

Now the waiting game.
Was able to drive a Lariat, 2.0 AWD and loved it.
The size and entry and exit are perfect for us elderly folk.
Been holding off for a small truck like this forever.
Thanks Ford for bringing this entry price point vehicle to the masses!
