Mine came with the Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT. It looks like its a tire made for Ford that they have been putting on the F150. Tread and siping look much better than other oem tires I've had in the past. Still don't have faith that they will be as good as the Michelin Defender 2's I've been running for the last 10 years. We just got about 15" of snow with some ice underneath it and I'm planning to take them out today and see how they respond. If it would have arrived with the Pirelli's I would be looking to swap out asap, I hate those tires.
Cant say about them now, but had both Goodyear Wranglers & Eagles. Back in the 1980s.
Was Very Happy with them.

My father would get tires swapped out by the dealer before he took delivery on a new car. I don’t know what, if any, credit he got for the old tires.
something to discuss with your dealer or the tire shop. Even if they only gave you half the value of the original tires, it’s better than nothing. Otherwise you’ll have to figure out what to don with the original tires.

It's not vanity it is functionality. The OEM Continental tires are good enogh for smooth dry roads. On broken pavement/gravel roads they are not serviceable. Had the first OEM tire damage at 300 miles. Replaced all 4 with better tires based others posting similar experiences. This is what we have to deal with in the north:

Gray Goose - Those pics are impressive. That is why we pay the sunshine tax. Almost any tires will work in the coastal areas of CA.

My 2017 escape came with the "Michelin Latitude Tour HP 18R" and they barely lasted 30k miles. Hoping that's not the case with the tires they are throwing on them now.

The Continental's are indeed terrible on anything but dry pavement.

That is absolute rubbish. I live in BFE of the PNW and put just over 40,000 miles on the factory Continental tires.

The PNW would disagree with you.

Is this a case of the white lettering being on the inside?
Frankly didn't notice when under it, and not near it right now.

With all the posts about people buying new Mavs then upgrading tires and the like on a brand new vehicle, I have a hard time believing the economy is bad. I suppose people want a certain look and tires are part of that but it seems that is perfectly good $$$ spent on vanity. My opinion. Others will take exception.
IMO that has nothing to do with the economy. All of us are guilty, at one time or another, of buying something we didn't need or couldn't afford or shouldn't buy.

Raised white letter tires look great to me but there hard to find on some sizes. I’ve had my maverick about 5 months with Michelin 235/60/18 and they are perfect with less than 3 thousand miles. But I’ve bought a set of Firestone at2 245/60/18 RWL and hope they fit. I’ve worked really hard for my money so I’ll buy what I want so when I walk to the garage for a beer I can enjoy my Raised White Letter Tires . Trotter 73
