Even with them, here is a visual of the spray the tires create...and after seeing this spray pattern, I almost wondered about getting PPF on the lower part of the doors. 😳

I wish there were a good set of rubber ones. I would tear those off when I'm offroad and I'd hate to see what they'd do to the paint when that happens.

I installed the Ford OEM mud flaps because I couldn't stand the rooster tails on my truck from the dirty roads. Looks great too and it was easy to install.

They look good, but I sure like my gatorbacks better! I was surprised how well they work as actual mud flaps. But some protection is better than no protection in my book. It does enhance the look of your ride.

So why are the Gatorbacks so expensive? Are they longer?

I kinda don't like how they stick out the side but oh well.

Isn't that the point? They stick out to keep road spray off the sides and quarter panels.

Long, better, higher quality and I am sure you are paying for that darn FORD logo. I personally like them much better than the OEM version. But not everyone is willing to pay what I did either.

I just purchased the RokBlokz rally mudflaps (aftermarket). They jived a bit more with the look and feel of my build. I will post some photos once they are delivered and installed.
