I had requested activation on FordPass, just for fun, right around the time my Maverick shipped on 9/21. As you can see the status of my railcar is "placement - actual" and for the whole journey in FordPass it has just said "activation pending".

1 hour ago I got a notification that activation had been denied by "primary user" and I take this to mean my truck was started and hopefully that means it is unloaded.

Your railcar is now released empty, so at least it is off the railcar for sure! Fingers crossed you get to see it this weekend.

Well I'm in GA and it is in PA so it won't be this weekend. But yes, it now shows "pending pickup" on United Road. Progress!

Currently my Maverick has been stuck outside of Chicago for 2 days. But good news came from the dealer, they are going to honor the original MSRP. They originally were saying I would have to pay the price currently on the sticker and not the MSRP when I ordered.

Wow Bruce, see your MAV is getting close, Buffalo! Same here but it's not over till it's in the driveway.

Ordered 10/4/21 delivered 10/14/22

One year and 10 days after submitting the order my 20 year old son finally has his first brand new vehicle. Dealer honored the original price, the college grad discount of $750, and FMC financed a 20 year old with no co-signer even though he had almost no credit history, just one credit card he got at 18.
Hybrid xlt with copilot 360 and a tow hitch.

Well I just got called from my dealer about the Maverick I ordered on July 19th and they told me that I would only get a 2024 model and I will have to absorb 2 price increases now. I think Ford has handled this whole situation very poorly. I get that they are having major issues keeping up but the way they treat Canadian customers is a joke! No information is available at all and all you can go by is the false crap on social media. Ford if you are trying to be an EV giant you have along way to go.

Yesterday, after being told it was awaiting shipment from kentucky truck plant, I asked them to try again as it has been riding the rails for nearly a month now. The second response was the Burnham yard. I still have an eta of next week, but it would be fun to track it in. The New Castle freight yard is only 15-20min away, I could go and drool on the fence.

Picked up today My dealer honored price protection and finance protection. They even honored X-Plan pricing. (I bought that 1-Year membership MustangClubofAmerica $50 - was gonna expire next sunday too)
This was Hybrid Lariat Lux CP360 AltoBlue
This also reduced the $399 doc fee to $99..so before tax $30,656.98

I figured i saved some $$ so i let the dealership add their own clearbra(bumper/leading fender/mirrors $549), front tint($200) extended warranty+replacementkeys 60kMiles/7Years 10/14/2029 ($1829)

I did that 3 year 0% and i had applied for a Ford CreditCard a week ago and took advantage of that cashback offer (i think ill get $100 statement credit + FordPassPoints -update later) but I only put $3k on it ..it is also a 0% 6 months..(i didnt mess with a trade-in cause of that 0% i wanted to keep loan bigger)

I will sell my Sequoia but invest the money....and withdraw 1/36th a month to put towards auto loan.

Also..i thought there was an issue with snow getting stuck behind drivers taillight and needing different mudflaps but...it looks covered pretty well..i can just add some stock mudflaps instead

I love the Maverick but damn that Eruption Green gets me on the Bronco. Even if it was the same price, farrrr less practical for me.
