Just talked to my sales guy again as last I heard over the weekend he had to check with his Ford rep to find out how to move me from priority 2 to priority 10 in order to drop my lux package. I reminded him today was the deadline.

He apologized for not keeping me updated and said he had removed the package and was now just waiting for his rep to move the order back to priority 2. Now we will see if that gets my now unconstrained XLT hybrid built (well unconstrained except for the motor!). I'm thinking I have a 50/50 shot at a 2022.

If I do get a 2022 built I will order a 2023 as well knowing it won't show up for a year or more. On that one I'll put the luxury package back on. Might even bump up to a Lariat with 360 to get adaptive cruise. I'm sure that my 2022 XLT will get me a good value when I'm ready to take the 2023.

Looks like it's going to be a foot race to see who get's their first! I'm actually hoping my Maverick will be a 2023...But I will accept a 2022 as well.

Fortunately I have a vehicle to drive. So wait it is.

I ordered particular features and options I want. Why remove anything??

I'm pretty sure there will be a luxury package but I'm sure they will change what it contains in order to remove as many constrain items as possible.

Like you I'm figuring a bird in the hand is worth more than heated seats. Plus with a 2022 I get to keep the 0% for 36 month financing and use my expiring X-Plan pin. Here's hoping we both get scheduled!

Well mine went from built back to in production, guess its time to stop looking. At least I got my dealer to respond and I am going to go get things squared away before it arrives. Assuming it does arrive.
