Ordered Maverick hybrid 9/20/2022.
Shipped 9/9/23 and delivered to me on 9/22!
Very pleased so far, but noticed these things:
No built-in garage door opener.
Does not display speed limits.
Passenger seat is manual and no lumbar.
Back seat area does not have “flat” position.
Not complaints, just maybe things I expected.

Back seat area does not have “flat” position.

Same body as the AWD version that needs clearance for a driveshaft.

Did you not watch or read any reviews before buying the truck? These are all well known things about the Maverick.

I have to agree with Icegradner; I thought that Ford did an excellent job in listing exactly what my base model was going to include, the most obvious exclusion being Cruise Control. That said, I still made a big mistake. EVERY photo I saw of the Maverick included the black bed liner. NOT ONCE did I see a photo with the bed the same color as the body. So, I just assumed that the bed liner was standard. I was so happy with the price of the truck that I didn't mind paying the extra $500 to have my Dealer have it installed.

Now, yesterday I had my first disappointment with an aftermarket item, and it was my own fault. I was looking for sill protectors, as I had them on my Miata and they saved a lot of scratches to the sill over 20 years. I found a set of 4 for $53, which seemed like a good price. Well, they arrived yesterday, AND THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN 4 DECALS. The paperwork says "Door Sill Vinyl Kit." I don't remember where I saw the original ad, but I am sure that it is my own fault for reading into it something that wasn't there. BE CAREFUL when ordering items for aftermarket sources.

Sounds like you wanted (expected) it to be like a Bronco Sport?

Theres thousands of videos on youtube about the thing. Quite a few as "walk-throughs" that showed every nook and cranny....

Another solution for the speed limit is to use Waze with Android Auto or Car Play. I have the wireless adapter and it connects before I hit the end of the driveway. Waze shows the speed limit in most areas. Between that and CC, it keeps me out of trouble.

Google maps also shows speed limits if you enable it in settings.

A lot of useful information here and also a lot of snark. It's just the way it is Welcome to the forum. And fair warning, do not ask when to do your oil changes, or what brand oil and filter to use! Also, don't ask what octane fuel to use, lol.

some people online (and in this forum) retrofitted a KIa mirror that has a builtin compass + Homelink + auto dimmer. Seem to fit pretty well.

There’s no built-in garage door opener but on the lift gate there two built-in bottle openers.
