The Lobo is a sport truck, but I prefer the hybrid.
Interesting that the Lobo's 0 to 60 at 6.8 seconds noted in the video is slower than the 6.7 typically quoted for the hybrid, so don't risk your pink slip..

With current fuel prices, you'll be paying for a sizeable difference in MPGs.
With a few options thrown in, you'll be pushing 50 grand OTD.
To each there own.
Motor Trend 2026 Truck of the Year which was the Maverick!! AWD Maverick Hybrid 0-60 7.0 seconds AWD LOBO 0-60 6.1 seconds.

You can't just throw around false numbers because you don't like the ecoboost. Stock for stock the hybrid is up to a second slower than the ecoboost. Now go lift your hybrid and put mudders on it like the rest of the hybrid crowd

I have a 2025 Maverick lariat AWD with steeda springs. Everything else is OEM. I love the black wheels that came stock on my truck. Mine has the blackout package but I'm not a fan of stickers so I had the hood center painted black to match the roof

I don’t like the look of either wheel choice so that would be an added expense. Then there is the stealer. At my age I can no longer deal with those crooked people nor the con men they employ. That’s honestly the biggest deterrent to buying these days. Can’t subject myself to that horrible environment.
I can relate to the bad dealer experience, but that doesn't mean they are all bad.
My recent Maverick purchase was easily the best I've had of the last 15 new cars I've bought.
Straightforward pricing, no last minute changes, no finance department BS.
Results can vary.
Take a look at reviews to find a good dealer, or go with a non dealer option..
A search on "how to buy a new vehicle without a dealership" will give you lots of alternatives.

You know nothing about me, so keep your personal comments to yourself.
I do not dislike the EB, I prefer the better mileage of the hybrid.
I didn't post fake numbers, those were the ones that came up when I did a search.

How quickly a vehicle can make it to 60 is a recipe for poor mileage, so that isn't my focus, but I guess those who think their vehicle has something to do with their personality might.

I got my '26 Lobo at the end of February. I absolutely love this little truck. If anything, I think most of the big name automotive media outlets undersold it. With a single vehicle, you can drop the kids off at school, go to an autocross event, and then stop by the hardware store on the way home and pick up 1000 lbs of mulch and edging stones. There's nothing else on the market today that can do that. IMHO, Ford really nailed this one.

Life is too short to let a bad dealer experience keep you from purchasing what you want, unless you are so in-flexible that your purchase has to be with the shop down the street. I've traveled hundreds of miles to purchase new vehicles, and will do it again in a heartbeat.

Go get your Lobo!

I'm not sure who was cooler in that video, the 112 year-old guy in the introduction or the guy with the aviators and the 1970s porn-stache. 😂

My (3) Mavericks have just been some of my Daily Drivers.

I don't want an EV and don't care about HP my Maverick.

I've got other high performance daily driver trucks. I've been purchasing Mavericks to keep miles of the other DDs.

And those tests were all at different locations not like the Motor Trend test see post above!!
