Has anyone else had trouble with Ford keeping them updated? On Jan. 25th I went onto ford.com to check on any updates on my build which was supposed to be the week of Jan. 29. It showed that my truck was already in production. Ford never sent me a notification it was i production and although it stated I could view my window sticker there was no link to click on to do that. I checked today, Jan. 31, and everything is the same as it was 6 days ago. Still no word from Ford. Having worked at the Kansas City assembly plant for 30 years I know it does not take 6 days for a vehicle to go through the assembly process. A friend of mine who ordered the same day and has the same build week is going through the exact same thing. A little communication would go a long way in improving customer relations.
I ordered my 2024 Maverick XLT EB all wheel drive back in July. I got a notice that it was built and would be delivered Dec. 28th. It never made it to Sheehy Ford in Richmond, VA. I have been dealing with Ford Customer Service for over a month and they still have not found my vehicle. I am at so tired of dealing with this poor service. The last thing I heard was it was shipped to Chicago by mistake. Frustrating does describe this situation.

Has your dealer been able to go into their system and see the vehicle? Mine dealer was able to pull up a map showing the entire route the truck took once it crossed the border. I'm down in Hampton Roads so I am guessing you are on the same route. The truck went up to Chicago before heading down to the yard in Petersburg. It sat there almost a week before it went to the dealer.

They have been looking for it over a week and I have heard nothing but crickets. I don't understand why they have not located it. I hope they have not allowed it to be sold out from under me.

So is it the Hybrids they are behind on the most? Hopefully mine moves along quickly

I was notified by dealership when truck arrived there. 13 months after order. 1 email from Ford acknowledging order and one 45 day email in between.

If the tracker is not showing it in Final Prep then the dealer has not gotten it.

I think there is a lot of left hand and right hand doing things the other is not aware of. When mine was being built, I got an email saying it is taking longer than expected and less than 5 minutes later I got an email saying it was built. Then when it was at the last stop before the dealer (for a week) I asked my sales agent when to expect it, she said "Next week". I got a call 4 hours later from the GM letting me know my truck was in and when did I want to pick it up.

But I have had my truck a week now and love it more and more.

What initiates getting Ford to send you emails on the status of your build, etc.?
