From what I have read here none of them are water proof! A fiberglass cap is the way to go for water proof if that is your goal.

I think you’re good but a peek behind the scenes will verify. Parts are more available than they were but they are also expensive! YOU should have a choice as far as fix or replacement of hood. Good luck and keep us posted.

For those of you "really" feeling this way and you have deep pockets, wrap it and change it out as needed.

I I didn’t notice a mention of hybrid or eco. If hybrid there are cooling lines going to the battery.
