I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This time of the year we only see big trucks pulling snowmobile trailers. But I have seen 4. First one early Nov, Area 51 awd. #2 early Jan, Lariet awd. #3 early Feb, XL hybrid. #4, XLT awd at my dealer last Fri. NOT MINE.... My XLT hybrid will be here soon enough. If you believe that I have some beachfront property for sale.

Since I started this thread Jan. 9, 2022, this is the very first day I have seen a Maverick in the wild ( out on the open road) that is. Before today it was a few trucks coming into our local dealer.
A nice sunny Sunday winter morning and the guys dog was happy as can be riding shotgun in a Cyber Orange AWD - XLT.

My Mav was delivered December 1st 2021. (ordered Jun 1st) There are several Ford dealers in the OKC area and I did see one base version at a dealer near me but 3 months later I still have not seen another one on the streets. I do Love my Lariat FE and love the Area 51 color. Can't wait to see some others in different colors.

I have not seen a single one on the road or parking lots. I live in Pa. and use 95 and Md. beltway all the time and since I ordered mine in June, I have been on the lookout but nothing.

Could be because the majority were sold in Ca.

Saw my first maverick in the wild yesterday. Alto Blue XLT ECOboost The only others I have seen were at the dealer (Jenkins Ford of Crystal River Florida) and they were both ecoboost.

Finally saw one this morning. Heading down 75 into Dallas. Carbonized gray Lariat hybrid.

Lincoln Ne.... 290,000 population and the Ford dealer here has received 6 Mavericks. My coworker has seen 2 since Oct when I got my truck. Ne is 39th on the list for Mav orders of members here! I'm curious of color vs location. There are 3 pepper reds running around including mine.

So we live in a mid sized city in a populous state with 5 Ford dealers within 30 miles of each other but I have only seen 7 actual rigs and only at the dealers.
Today I spotted this fresh off the truck Hybrid Lariat at a dealer awaiting its prep time... first eyes on a Lariat and hybrid for me personally. Never have seen a truck out on the road. I have seen and touched an XL, XLT, AWD and now this white Lariat. Like I said 7 total in the mix.
I am a car/truck guy and can spot vehicles way off........ just not seeing many yet. I know they are being built and sold but it’s odd for me not to see someone out showing their new truck off
I feel deprived...., yet hopeful when deliveries ramp up.

i live in southern fairfield county CT. have seen 1 on the highway. 2 at a deealership they were asking 10000.00 over msrp. otherwise none to be seen.

Finally met another Phoenix Maverick! The mcdonalds parking lot in Peoria. We both had the same paint code and nodded at each other. Maybe the Maverick nod needs to be a thing? Like the Jeep wave?

I get it, everyone is excited to see a Maverick, but why would anyone expect to be seeing them in any numbers?

I promise I know what this feels like - I have owned a number of unique vehicles, including a couple of Honda Elements (an SUV before its time) and Fiat 500s (Just bought my wife an Abarth Cabriolet...it growls!). Seeing other Mavericks is going to be a rarity, even when we are all eagle-eyed on the lookout.

For scope, while many Elements are probably no longer on the road, there were over 200,000 sold in the US between 2003 and 2011. Fiat has sold a similar number of of 500s in the US between 2011 and 2019 - both more than 10x the number of Mavericks sold so far. And how often do you see these on the road? Not very!

Been looking since January 2022. Only seen two. An XL waiting to turn right and a white one but unknown trim speeding by in the opposite direction. I waved at the guy in the XL, but he didn't return. Back in the day, I had a 1972 BMW 2002. We would happily flash our brights as recognition that we were driving a great, and at the time, a rare car in America. It would be cool to have Maverick owners to do the same.

I saw one yesterday it was a area 51 XLT FX4 in the Denton Texas area
