Many I've seen on Ford's site show the black on XL's.

My wife and I had a base and mid trim Nissan Versa. My base had the body color between the doors and hers had the black vinyl strip on the b pillar. Cost cutting from their standpoint.

Here's another 2025 without the black....from the Oxford White post on here. That is strange.....as some have the black and some are painted. Every picture from my local dealer with 2025s on their website have the black.

On my Lariat the black looks like wide electrical tape a little.
The way it terminates at the top.
I still like my mini truck.

I have been looking at the gloss black stick on covers for the pillars. The matte black on my Lariat doesn't look right. But would love if someone had factory color match ones.

You'd rather have factory paint-matched stick-on covers than just remove the vinyl to uncover the factory paint?

It looks like all the dealer pics that use the photoshopped image have the black, "real" pics of actual vehicles are body color.

If you decide to remove them, I recommend you heat them with a heat gun or hair dryer prior to peeling.

I believe this is Ford's part number.
I had mine replaced when I had some road debris damage.
