Is this normal for an order?

I placed an order for a 2024 Maverick Hybrid XLT on Jan 30, 2024. Today (Feb 15) I got a text from Ford saying my build date is scheduled for the week April 1, 2024. I was also contacted by the dealership and they gave me the VIN#.

I know a lot can change, but that seems really quick. Do I need to go buy some lottery tickets?

Last time I did the numbers, XLTs and Lariats had roughly two months worth of production in the order banks. So, you might have lucked out and found a dealer that had allocations.

Sounds about right. Ordered mine on 12/19/23, got vin & build date on 12/21/23(build date week of 2/19/24) Updated email on 1/02/24 that build date moved forward a week (2/12/24). Called Ford and was told build starts on 2/15/24.Saleswoman said build date start was actually 2/13/24. As you can see days move around a little depending on who you talk to.

Wow, that does seem fast for a Hybrid! Congratulations! I ordered a Lariat Ecoboost FX4 4k tow on Dec 27th 2023, received a build date week of Feb 19, but just saw my maverick is in production today. I also started to see lots of Hybrids on local lots. Customer orders not being picked up. Im in the SF Bay Area
