Non-Sync3 USB Software Update - Is it possible?

Hi all,

My garage is separate from my house, and my wifi doesn't reach out to the truck when it's parked.

Is there a way to do a software update with a USB stick? If so, anyone know how? I do NOT have a Lariat - looking to see if this is possible with XL/XLT

I bought a wireless repeater to get the WiFi to the truck. I can connect the truck and scan for updates, but it never finds any.

Could you just park your car near the front door or something to get close enough to connect to the home wifi? Using a phone as a hotspot is not a bad idea either.

Keep scanning with phone connected and logged in. I got version 1.8 last week. Stereo seems more responsive and less buggy.
