No sport mode

Have had my 23 Maverick XLT FX4 since February. Don’t drive it much but enjoy it when I do. However, I just came to realize that there is no sport mode on my choice of drive modes. Is this normal? Would think the 2.0 would certainly have it. I’m older but still enjoy a hot hit on the gas once in a while.

No Sport mode w/ FX4 Off-Rd Pkg. FX4 also doesn't have Eco. But you get mud & ruts and sand instead.

The FX4 package deletes Sport mode, adds a couple off-road modes.


Give Tow/Haul a try....it's like Sport mode light.

Thanks, wasn’t told any of that when I ordered a year ago but then I wasn’t told about all the option delete either.

If you happen to know anything about Forscan, you can fairly easily add it to your Maverick. As others said, FX4 removes a couple modes, but can easily be added back in. Thrilled about this. I knew, and was accepting of the loss, but knowing I can put it back makes it that much better!

I also have the Tow haul mode which I was told is Sport mode just different name
