No longer concerned Maverick wouldn't hold enough... rescued food haul shows maverick can carry as much as we need

I was concerned when we first looked at the Maverick that the bed was too small and I would not be able to carry as much rescued food as our F-150. But it has proven quite capable of carrying every bit as much as we need!

In San Diego, (maybe CA in general) grocery stores cannot just throw out food at or nearing "best if used by" date. It gets donated to the food bank or ministries to pass on to food insecure individuals and families. Ours goes directly to a ministry that has people waiting for it
