Hi All,

I'm attempting one of my first mods. It's the AKRO cubby w/ USB modules, and I've come across an unexpected challenge. In the AKRO install video, (linked below, 17:15 for a view of the interior fuse box) the fuse box is located behind the glove box, but on my 2024 Ecoboost Lariat, the fuse box is underhood. Does anyone know of a conduit I can use to run the wire through the firewall? I don't see anything, and I'm concerned about drilling a hole through the firewall for obvious reasons. If anyone has advice or ideas on how to get wires to the fuse box from the interior, please let me know, thanks!

All Maverick's have two fuse panels, the one under the hood and one below the globe box. It's at the front of the passenger footwell, plastic covering the area, if you have floor mats it will have to be removed.
Edit added. There are grommets in the firewall near the pedals where aftermarket wiring can pass through without drilling. Same at the back of the cabin under the rear seat.

Not so on my Maverick.
It's not behind the glovebox. It's the panel just above the floor in the passenger footwell, below the dashboard.

Ah, thanks. So I either have to remove that panel (no idea how to do this yet) to gain access to the interior Fuse box, or search for the grommets in the firewall that @Ken L suggested?

Yes. The panel pops off, just get your fingertips under it and pry it off the retainer tabs.

Thanks @Carlitos_92 I didn’t look past the under hood fuse box information in the manual. I found it, so I’m back to installing. Thanks to everyone, I’ll post a pic of the finished product.

Very simple to remove, grab any corner or edge, and pull up, fingers between cover and floor carpet.

@Ozarkbeard Thanks for your help. In my world, people are respectful of one another, but I respect your world view of negativity and anger. I wish you well.
