CLEARLY when I ordered my maverick...it showed the XL, cheapo model did NOT have cruise...that is why I OPTED up to the XLT...it is your own fault if you have no cruise and bought the maverick. When purchasing a new vehicle spend the 10 minutes on what options come with each model. Sell it if you don't like it, put some cash in your pocket and call it a day....or have an aftermarket cruise installed.

Lolz... Am on the fence myself. A F150 Lightning Pro does not get Adaptive just simple cruise. I think a Maverick XLT Hybrid with 360 has adaptive. Both have a key to start. For me both would be 2023s. Choices choices...

The Maverick XLT Hybrid with 360 does not have adaptive cruise I believe that is only available on the Lariat with the LUX package.

I for one do not want adaptive cruise as I do not want to pace the vehicle in front of me that can't stay at a constant speed. I just pass them.

Was this in response to the "FORD SUCKS" post which I don't see anymore? Yeah, it's not actually up to a salesperson/dealer to tell you what's not included... they list the features it does have. Dude needed to do some research before plunking down $25k.

Umm, you can pass them while using adaptive cruise control. ACC is JUST LIKE regular cruise, except that it helps keep you from plowing into the back of a vehicle going 50 mph while you're set at 80 mph. In every other way, it's EXACTLY like cruise control.

Adaptive is awesome in congested urban traffic. Once you learn to trust the robot it make life much less miserable.

Intelligent cruise is not so good as it changes your speed to match signage. Nothing but a pain to be going 80 and have the cruise kick down to 60 as the zone changes but traffic does not. I turned intelligent off..

Adaptive cruise control is one thing I wish I could have gotten on my XLT.

Without it, if I get boxed in behind a slower vehicle, I have to cancel cruise, then find an opening to accelerate around the obstruction, then resume cruise.

It would be nice if the cruise control could slow me down, then speed me back up again once I navigate around the slower car, without me having to do it manually.

I know, I know... it's not a big issue. I'm just saying it would be nice to have and I wish it had been available without having to step up another trim level.

Once you get used to ACC, it is hard to go back. I have zero use for regular cruise and don't even use it.

I wonder, would ACC be an after market option?

Correct - Have Adaptive Cruise in my car and highly recommend it...I've seen ZERO disadvantages in traffic. Keeps you from having to continually re-set cruise speed, falls back to previously set speed after passing slower vehicle.

Intelligent cruise control is a different animal than ACC, I would not have Intelligent Cruise....IC cruise uses GoogleMaps or Garmin Speed Limits...this boy, like most people, never drives the limit on freeways, only thing good about Intel.Cruise is it beeps when approaching a school zone, I only do the speed limit in "school zones".

I doubt it. Even Rostra, who has been making after-market cruise and other items for years said they would not be offering ACC.

Totally agree, I had it on a rental on vacation out west and made driving so much more relaxing

I only have experience with the adaptive cruise on my Peterbilt and it sucks. It might be better in something smaller but its not for me.
