Why are some posts labeled "Not open for further replies?"

I didn't swear, insult anyone, say anything political or say anything untrue.
Why are some posts closed down with this?

Asking stupid, pointless, rambling questions in excessively long posts, making stupid comments, or posting something that virtually offers zero value to this Forum are just 3 ways.

Sometimes threads are just not constructive and the admins feel are just a distraction. A back-and-forth on one thread can roll over to others and we are trying to mostly be positive here (as best as we can given the circumstances).

Trolls can go to Reddit. We just want to have adult conversations and have a little fun without devolving into hatred and politics (sorry to be redundant).
