Hi, Everyone, retired Arizonan here. Just yesterday drove home in my new, RUBY RED 2026 XLT Hybrid AWD...the first new vehicle I've had in 30 years. I'm from a Ford family--Dad retired from Ford, I worked for Parts & Service in the late 70s, my brother worked at Theo Robins Ford in Costa Mesa, CA. Looking forward to having too much fun in "Rowdy", my Maverick!

Will post a photo as soon as I get my water problem solved (well pump running 24/7, there's a leak somewhere on my 2 acres, leak specialists coming today or tomorrow!)

Yep, and a couple months ago changed out 2 tires on it that were 13 years old!

In the coming weeks of ownership if you happen to notice a clunking sound as you're slowing down, right around 13 mph. Could you please mention it on the forum.

I had no idea they were THAT OLD. The other two were replaced in May 2025--wonder why the tire shop didn't say anything at that time.
