At one time I was driving 30k miles annually of which the last 15 miles to my house was curvy " chip sealed " roads .
Didn't make any difference good tires , or cheap tires , 30k would wear them out ...anyway ...I was buying tires from K-Mart at that time , and several times I'd get tires that would pull to one side or the other , rotated them around and all would be well .
A trick I learned at that time was to make your tire appointment as late as possible , they'd get you in and out by quitting time , a appointment any other time and you'd wait for hours .
I now use Les Schwab tire stores (a West Coast francise) , no issues .

two were down to 5/32nds before 20K - rotating and kept then inflated as prescribed, do mostly city driving and not that much (8k a year) - didn't baby the truck but too old to drive wildly in it - they start out being 8/32nds, suggested that the extra elec torque has adverse affect on the fronts....possible...anyways swapped them out before this past winter for something more substantial. Who knows maybe a 'bad batch' or something ...pretty disappointed though, cost me well before I had anticipated....

As a disclaimer would state... "Your Mileage will Vary".. :ROFLMAO:

I have two sets of the Connie's. The Trucks' OEMs and a set I purchased from the truck's "Brother".

For Me, "Time will tell".

Not much of an update. But I did take the truck back to have the wheels rebalanced. I told the guy to "look" for a bent rim or anything out of the ordinary with the tire...he said nothing he could see.....I see two wheels with different weight placement so they were off....but the more I drive it....the feeling of pulling to the right is when im accerlating.....its not a hard pull but as soon as I give it gas it starts to pull to the right.

Didn't have alignment....had tires balanced. The roads around Me are so bad this time of year...they are buckled from the cold....they have crowns that you feel like you're a slot car. But I did get it out of town on some "smoother" roads and it has a noticeable pull right under acceleration that I didnt notice with my steel winter wheel setup.

bite the bullet and pay for an alignment - I know you said that it was fine before tire/wheel replacement but you might want to consider that it felt that way because the misalignment was being offset by a tire/wheel discrepency and in the end it just happened that they worked fine as a combination but aren't because now all the tires/wheels are all just fine as they are. It's not that much $ - it doesn't take much to cause some drift.

Not sure if an Aluminum wheel could be bent or not. I thought maybe they were steel wheels[which could be bent] as some Bronco Sports come with steel wheels.
When my 22 hybrid lariat was hit in drivers side rear the at fault drivers insurance was charged $125 to have the OEM rim certified true and undamaged.

Yep, I would agree. Maybe it's just me being anal with my maintenance habits, but I have
ALWAYS had an alignment done with every set of new tires regardless. For me its just additional confidence I won't be prematurely wearing down a new set of tires, it's not that expensive in the overall picture of things IMO.

I have an appt at ford next week to check the alignment. Maybe its covered under warranty. The book says 12 months or 12k miles for alignment not sure what that means

Swap tires side to side is a good way to see if you have a tire pull....doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Also, it is a good idea to get an alignment done when buying new tires. A good shop will check the spec and if the alignment is within spec, would charge a lower price for an "alignment check" as a sign of good will since the tech only went as far as putting the alignment heads on and ran a spec check but actually did not have to make any adjustments.

Funny how people have completely different experiences.
My 2010 pony car loved Connie’s.
Great in every situation we got into.
