I had an F150 in for service at a Ford dealer a few years ago. I got the same type recommendation to do several things not suggested by Ford. I asked the service tech what he thought of the recommendation and he told me he would not have them done if it was his vehicle.

DAP makes a product called "Seal and Peel". You can install it to seal a gap/leak and peel it off later if you no longer need it. I've used it to seal a leak on a rear quarter panel window on a 65 Falcon station wagon and it works perfectly.

Interesting group...some want the black-out emblems so you can't tell what brand truck they're driving and some want the brand logo to light up! To each his own.

Are any of those Mavericks part of the back up camera recall? In other words, can a buyer actually drive them home? Not trying to insult you, but some folks seem to be buying a 2024 Maverick and then being told they can't pick it up until the recall is resolved.

I think you'd have a hard time winning a lemon law suit over a rattle...if you try it, be sure the lawyer only gets paid if you win the case.
