That’s what’s on Tremors, thought 245 rubbed fender wells on sharp turns on reg MavericksLooks good! Should have went up to at least 235/65 r17.
Nice and also like the Maverick claw decal on your bedside.225/65/17 trail terrain![]()
Your XL looks great with the new tires and wheels. I was going to buy an XL because of the excellent price but I couldn't get used to the stock wheels and decided to go with the XLT. The plan was to buy an XL and make it my own but I took the easy way out. Now I'm second guessing my decision because I love the look of your truck. The graphics are very tasteful too. Why ?Looks good! Should have went up to at least 235/65 r17.
I personally think bigger tires look better. As for milage you might lose 1-2 mpg. It's more about the weight of the tires. I went with 235/65 r17 Firestone destination AT 2s. They are lightweight (for all terrain tires) at 28lbs a tire vs the stock 24lbs. His 225s weigh 33lbs. So I got bigger tires and they still weigh 5lbs less per tire then what he got. I still think his looks good. Why ?
As the OP said, “ Oh I thought about ...but didn't want to lose the fuel mileage ...”
Because my 2024 Lariat handles so well in all my varied driving conditions I will not be going up in width or height.
I don’t need the, “Look” of wider tires and would only go up for performance gains.
I see no reason,
So far.
