Can someone help me. I upgraded to all kicker speakers with a kicker 10” sub running off an AudioControl 5 channel amp. If I set the stereo to “all seats” I have no bass to the sub at all. But, if ai set the stereo to “driver”, the sub finally kicks in. I have not gotten Forscan and set eq flat. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, the problem is likely in the wiring between the head unit and the amp - so we'd have to know how all that was put together.

If you use forscan it's not just eq on or off. You can remove the crossover on the rear. Instead of taping off at a speaker use pac audio LPHFD31 so you will have all front rear left and right adjustment. I went with a audio control lc7i pro to a 5 channel rockford and a shallow 10 rockford power series behind the seat.

The Audio Control amp I have (A1100.5) has 6 speaker level inputs. I am using 4 of them, the 2 door speakers and the rear speakers as inputs.

For a test I would disconnect the rear speakers and see if the amp see sub signal in all modes. It's possible the DSP is flipping the polarity from all to driver mode.

So more than likely it's summing the rear input to give signal to the sub channel. That is why you are not man getting bass. Try and talk to someone close to you with forscan tool to make the rear speakers full range

It is that simple believe it or not.

Or use just the front inputs to feed the entire system. You will just lose option of the fader.

Thanks for the input. I will try to disconnect the rear speaker inputs and see if that works. If it does, its looks like I will need to get with someone that has Forscan to set my EQ. One more question. I have 20ohm load generators but haven't installed them. Should I be using them?

Looking at page 11 in the manual for your A1100.5 amp. It says if you are running the speaker level into the amp like you are you should set it for 4 channel instead of 5.

What do you have the input mode set to?

And I also see

Input Mode Switch – Select 2ch when only one pair of RCA and

input signal is available. This will route signal from inputs 1&2 to

all 5 output channels. Select 4ch when all four channels of input

are present/available. This will route signal from inputs 1&2 to

Ch 5 output channels Select 5ch when all five channels of input

are present/available. Signal will be routed from each input to its

corresponding output

He has it correct but the rear input to the amp which is what would sum to the rear channels to the sub has a built in crossover on the factory head unit. So if he only feeds from front he will lose the fader option which in my personal opinion is fine.

yes. I was able to get the sub back in “all seats” mode by removing inputs 3 & 4 and setting my amp to 2 channel input. Not worried about the faster for now as I used the gain for output 3&4 to set the level where I like it.

Since I removed the rear speakers as inputs to my amp, should I still install a load generator on them?
