Ford,

What the hell does this blue bar detail? I understand Confirmed, Production and Built, and I understand being told in words your truck has been shipped. Why isn't the white circle filled blue with a check and a shipped date?

So, has it been shipped or not??????

How about a LEGEND to tell the customer what the hell you are trying to tell us or are you so incompetent that you don't know what the hell is going on with your shipping department?????

Shame on You!!!!!!!
Spoke with my dealer this morning. They thought it meant the vehicle is in transit but not complete. Additional work is needed when received by dealer. Like computer chips. They recently received a bronco with similar status. Computer chips were missing and vehicle is on Hold status and cannot be sold waiting receipt of chips. Could take two weeks to a month to complete. I believe there were some news stories a few months back that ford was considering shipping vehicles without chips to dealers and completing build when chips were available. More pain to the process watching your vehicle sit nearby in the dealer lot waiting for a part. Yikes

Sure puts a burden on the dealers to store, while waiting.

Dealer probably happy. They get vehicles to fill their empty lots and will add another “Preperation Fee” to your invoice when you pick up your new vehicle. Haha

With so few new cars on the lot probably not a big deal. Will bring more customers in to look at the missing module(s) vehicle hoping they can buy it off the lot.

I feel like there may be a LONG way to so, also seen people get "built" after one day of "In Production" . o_O

Oh NO! You mean we need another circle with Shipped BUT NOT COMPLETE. Why not a circle with Shipped and GOOD LUCK.

Been in 'production' since the 10th. Blend date is Jan 31st. Add 30 days if you're on a chip hold seems to be the pattern. So I expect to see movement around march 10th. In your case it hasn't been a full month of official production, so patience should win out here. I'd get fidgety if it's been sixty days and no movement. That's a lot of sunblasting on a new paint job.

For clarity's sake this is what my tracker looked like yesterday, same as everyone else.

Ford Maverick New Step in Tracking? 1646414965717

This is what it changed to this morning. (And my dealer emailed me to let me know it was there)

They also changed the spelling of Preparation to be correct!

How long ago did you get the status changed from, shippped, to shipped to your dealer?

This morning after I got the email from my Dealer I checked and it had changed.

For more clarity I received my shipping notification email on January 31st with an estimate for delivery to the dealer between February 26, 2022 and March 4, 2022.

Also - no email (yet) today with any sort of update from Ford, despite receiving emails stating every status change along the way. (Order, Build, Shipping)

Does anyone know once you get the "congrats your truck is built and shipped email" if there is any chance it still needs a chip? I was curious if once it hit that status if it was actually completely shipped. I'm curious if that's why Ford changed the tracking site. If so that makes sense, can't have all these people seeing a date when it's actually sitting in a yard waiting on a part even though it's built.

Mine was built on 1/28, and shipped, expected to be at the dealer between 3/7 - 3/14. Which is approaching. But of course that date was removed like everyone else commenting. I'm just curious if anyone knows, or has experienced a huge delay after getting the built and shipped notice.
