Spoke with my dealer this morning. They thought it meant the vehicle is in transit but not complete. Additional work is needed when received by dealer. Like computer chips. They recently received a bronco with similar status. Computer chips were missing and vehicle is on Hold status and cannot be sold waiting receipt of chips. Could take two weeks to a month to complete. I believe there were some news stories a few months back that ford was considering shipping vehicles without chips to dealers and completing build when chips were available. More pain to the process watching your vehicle sit nearby in the dealer lot waiting for a part. YikesFord,
What the hell does this blue bar detail? I understand Confirmed, Production and Built, and I understand being told in words your truck has been shipped. Why isn't the white circle filled blue with a check and a shipped date?
So, has it been shipped or not??????
How about a LEGEND to tell the customer what the hell you are trying to tell us or are you so incompetent that you don't know what the hell is going on with your shipping department?????
Shame on You!!!!!!!
Sure puts a burden on the dealers to store, while waiting.Spoke with my dealer this morning. They thought it meant the vehicle is in transit but not complete. Dealer probably happy. They get vehicles to fill their empty lots and will add another “Preperation Fee” to your invoice when you pick up your new vehicle. HahaSure puts a burden on the dealers to store, while waiting.
Please, don't give them any ideasDealer probably happy. They get vehicles to fill their empty lots and will add another “Preperation Fee” to your invoice when you pick up your new vehicle. Haha
Tales of Maverick vary greatly. In my case, the check marks for In Production 1/13, for Built 2/12.Losing faith and patience."In Production" since 02/15/2022
With so few new cars on the lot probably not a big deal. Will bring more customers in to look at the missing module(s) vehicle hoping they can buy it off the lot.Sure puts a burden on the dealers to store, while waiting.
Oh NO! You mean we need another circle with Shipped BUT NOT COMPLETE. Why not a circle with Shipped and GOOD LUCK.Spoke with my dealer this morning. Been in 'production' since the 10th. Blend date is Jan 31st. Add 30 days if you're on a chip hold seems to be the pattern. So I expect to see movement around march 10th. In your case it hasn't been a full month of official production, so patience should win out here. I'd get fidgety if it's been sixty days and no movement. That's a lot of sunblasting on a new paint job.Losing faith and patience."In Production" since 02/15/2022

This is what it changed to this morning. (And my dealer emailed me to let me know it was there)

They also changed the spelling of Preparation to be correct!
