I am not up to date on this, excuse me if its already answered.
Last time I checked 2023 order banks are closed(in 2022 with in a week).

- When will the order banks open for a new orders
- Do you expect price increase
- What time frame would be the wait

Yep, we don’t know for sure. If you look back to 2021 and 2022 it will likely not be before Jun and most like will be Aug/Sept, 2023.

I'll try to give you some reasonably helpful answers, not sure why the snark you are getting.

-No way to know for sure when they will reopen. Some are speculating Ford is trying to move the Model Year change earlier like historically typical. That could mean summer. Some speculate they may reopen for orders if/when they catch up, at this point that would only likely be for Ecoboost. Would suggest you keep your eyes on the forums to stay plugged in that is where the best info is. Assume for now September and hope for best.

-There will almost certainly be price increases. Minimum would expect to match inflation, maybe a bit more?

-Wait is variable. Things are improving but not still great. If you're luck couple months. If not, could be a year. Unlucky, hybrid, constraint issues continue could mean it doesn't get made at all. We ordered one for us to hand down our old car to son and I drive Maverick. He's 16 in November. I ordered because I knew it could take a year plus. Funny enough it's scheduled for January. I assume delivery late Feb or early March. So from order to deliver is 5 to 6 months.

So some think they will reopen the order banks again for the Ecoboost model only. . I just assumed no way. Guess will see.

or, if there is capacity Ford may just allow dealer stock or fleet orders for the EB. those orders would be easier to cancel without the social angst.

Indication is they will process all the EB orders unless some constraints pop up. So they would either take new orders or do dealer stock if they have capacity and not enough parts to build Hybrid. Other option is they switch the MY over earlier thereby not having a bunch of space capacity. Then they would be opening the bank early it would just be for '24.

ooked, but did not find any legit information/sources
That would be because there isn't any actual information. Lots of guesses but nothing factual.

My personal guesses:
- 2024 order banks open in September of 2023
- yes there will be a price increase. Possible 8 to 10% just to cover inflation.
- wait time? That is really hard. Possibly Ford will ramp up production and the wait will go down. Or maybe not. Actually it is impossible to really give you a number there. I ordered 9/16/22 and it was shipped to dealer on 12/6/22. Others have waited 400 or even 500 days for theirs. Just because the "average" wait is 6 months or whatever doesn't mean you won't get it in 2 months or 14 months.
