My first order the dealer didn't put my email on the order so I didn't get any emails from Ford. My second order (for my wife) at a different dealer, I got an email from Ford the same day and communication with the dealership has been exceptional. Check with your dealer to get the info you want. Sadly some are good and others are not.

Confirmation email should be day of or next day. If you don’t get that, if recommend you contact your dealer. After that point it’s a crapshoot

I first read BS in your post as "Bronco Sport" because around this forum the abbreviation BS is most often referring to the Bronco Sport. So I was confused at first. But after looking at the context it became abundantly clear which BS is you were referring to.

Maybe I can shed some light on the Ford process. I'm not sure if the Maverick community is familiar with the catch phrase "Stay Pumped!" because that is what Ford PR man Mike Levine told all us Bronco orderers to do the day before they stopped production for the MIC hardtop issues. I have no VIN#, no build date, and a fleeting chance based on allocations that I will see a MY22 Bronco.

My point? What Ford says isn't what Ford is actually doing.

I ordered my Hybrid Maverick on 10/13 and if I get a VIN# before March I will probably soil myself.

If you have ordered a Maverick, buckle up. If you ordered a Hybrid - recline your seat back - it's gonna be awhile.

It's a wild ride we've signed up for with Ford!

I ordered my EB on 10/20 and never heard from Ford. So, I called their 800 number and they did confirm the order and it was where it needed to be. Now we just hurry up and wait.

Don't I wish, though even then I somehow figured out how to identify where my meals came from and what to do when I was hungry.
