New Order - wondering how long before I get some sort of confirmation from Ford.

I ordered an Alto Blue Lariat on 10/28. Never ordered a new car before so I’m wondering how long before I get some sort of confirmation from Ford.

Did you give anyone a copy of your license and sign a DORA? If not, your did not actually place an order.

If you did, you should already have received an email from Ford saying the order has been placed. I placed a late october order and got the email within a few days.

Check with your dealer if you went that route, or call Ford directly.

If all went well at the dealership and they have your email and deposit (if that was required) it should only be a matter of minutes to a couple hours. Especially if they (with you) used an authorized ford computer to communicate your order.

Or like me, I didn’t make sure my email address was on it and didn’t receive the email. I had them add it later, and then called ford to confirm it was on the order. The kind person at ford said I wouldn’t get that first email as it was an automated email but I would receive all future emails.

Checked w my wife. The confirmation email was sent to her. I need to get my email in their system. So I am official!!!
