Neutral flat towing over 70 mph?

Thanks for agreeing with me about the downhill grade. So where can I find more info on the RPM's over 70. Quickly if you hit that 73-75 range momentarily will it damage the transmission ?

As I've said my normal speed range is 68-70 with the motorhome

You keep looking for someone to tell you that the Ford "DO NOT EXCEED 70 MPH" statement doesn't really mean "DO NOT EXCEED 70 MPH"::

Maybe you could get away with it...maybe you will trash your transmission.... Your choice whether to follow the manual or not, and you are not going to have anyone here pay for your transmission if something does happen...and in my world, 70 MPH is a high enough limit when towing with an RV of any sort. I never exceeded 70 with my 400HP DP towing a Jeep without a speed limitation..
But hey! It's a semi-free country.

I'm not looking for anything but information on the subject getting ready to sign for my Maverick tomorrow. In this overly sensitive world of today you never know the reasons for things. I've been flat towing and trailer towing behind my motorhomes for 15 yrs now and never had an issue with my speed expect when I have to go around some overly cautious motorhome drivers, thanks for your imput

250 rpm x mph with stock size tires on the Maverick Hybrid.
