Need help from Ford on issue just out of basic warranty

I am looking for tips on the best way to contact Ford Motor Company in reference to the digital dash display going out on my 22 Lariat Hybrid. This problem has been reported by several members and mine never stayed out long enough for the dealership to see and diagnose till now. Unfortunately I’m roughly 1 week out the basic warranty and looking for help from Ford. I was unable to direct message them from the forum.

I am looking for tips on the best way to contact Ford Motor Company in reference to the digital dash display going out on my 22 Lariat Hybrid. This problem has been reported by several members and mine never stayed out long enough for the dealership to see and diagnose till now. Unfortunately I’m roughly 1 week out the basic warranty and looking for help from Ford. I was unable to direct message them from the forum.
By the way I failed to mention I’ve already tried the fuse reset and the battery reset. It never came back.

You'd have to call customer support. Sometimes they won't help out of warranty unless an issue was noted before the warranty runs out. All you can do is call them, and talk to the dealership service department.

Are you up to date on the recalls? Believe there was one for the instrument cluster for 22-23 hybrid models.

Are you up to date on the recalls? Believe there was one for the instrument cluster for 22-23 hybrid models.
Only affects the XL/XLT instrument cluster, not Lariat/First Edition.

You'd have to call customer support. Sometimes they won't help out of warranty unless an issue was noted before the warranty runs out. All you can do is call them, and talk to the dealership service department.

A few years ago, I had a very expensive repair on an F-150 that was barely out of warranty. Per the dealership service dept. suggestion, I called Ford Customer Service and explained the problem. They called back the next day and offered to sell me an extended warranty. I bought it, paid the $100 deductible and Ford fixed the truck.

When this situation happened did you take video and go to the dealer for the issue? Did they have it in their notes somewhere? If you are one week out of warranty I don't see why a dealership wouldn't help you. Do you get any maintenance done at that dealership?

Ford has contact info all over their website.

What type of relationship do you have with dealer? Have you had routine maintenance performed at dealer?
This is the time when you ask for goodwill repair covering all or part of the cost.

If the dealer actually wrote repair orders for this in the past, there is a record for the problem during you warranty period, so dealer should be able to handle or go to another dealer

Unfortunately it wasn’t documented during my recall mobile service events. My fault.

I only mentioned it once while I was having a remote service done for a software recall. I don’t think it was documented. My fault.
