MY23 Hybrid FYI

I have a 22 Hybrid XLT that I lucked into (someone else's order they didn't want) after placing an order for a MY23. I ordered the 23 with the options I wanted back in September, but recently asked the dealer to add Co-Pilot 360 after I found out what it has done for my insurance rates. He sent back the paperwork and I noticed the Co-pilot had been added, but the Lux pkg, remote start and DIBL were removed from the order. Salesman got back with me today and said he got things corrected, but then sent me an email saying Ford kicked back the order.

"Wait... Ford kicked it back. Ford is saying no Lux package. It was balanced out for 2023. Basically it was never on the table. The 2.5 Hybrid XLT, Lux would be pushed to a 2024. I can push it to a 2024 or leave it as is"

Can't get remote start without Lux pkg (according to the Ford build site), not sure what the issue would be, but guessing it might be the hitch causing the problem?

Just wanted to let folks know who have a XLT order out with Lux pkg.

I modified my hybrid XLT/LUX/BAP order a few weeks ago and added 360 and remote start and didnt have any issues.

Hmmmmm doesn't seem right to me. Push to 2024 = wait until next fall and reorder.

Based on Maverick order constraints that Ford sent to dealers last week....it looks to me like there is extra capacity for XLT Lux, ie. more capacity than there are orders.

Now, it may be a glitch in WBDO...some error that is kicking the order back.....
But based on the dealer's response....doesn't look like they looked into it much.

Biggest constraints w/ Maverick (currently): hybrid, tow hitch, & splash guards.
