So, I have been very patient up to this point, but when I read that people may possibly receive their MY23 before my MY22. that's beyond ridiculous! I ordered my eco XLT AWD 12/6/21. It was built 11/4/22. It has been shipped and delivery date has been pushed back 4 times. I understand Ford would say it's the transportation network. I didn't purchase from transportation network, I purchased Ford and if they can't influence their partners more than that, maybe they don't deserve the business. I intentionally purchased from our small-town Ford dealer to keep business local. Sure, I could have bought from a mega dealer and probably would have received it long ago, but I like to help the little guy. Obviously, Ford doesn't so much!

I'm well aware that my '23 order will arrive before many '22 orders and offer my condolences.

Once Ford gives the truck to the rail or trucking company they have zero control over it. Much like me sending a first class letter to you and bitching about how long it takes... USPS doesn't care if you call them and ask where it is.

My dealer refuses to give a copy of my DORA which shows the rail car number. Going to talk to the GM in the morning so I can track the transport.

Shipping is an issue and it really is agravating to know the truck has been built and you just can't get it. My MY23 was built 12/2 and I was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery so mid-January probably. Maybe later if there is a delay.

Have you checked with your dealer? If you look at the tracking page on this website the numbers for rail tracking are there, you just need your dealer to get you the rail car number. As I understand it actual delivery will vary a lot depending on where you are located.

I also think this is one area where larger dealers have an advantage because the shipper will want to fill a rail car going to final yard and then will need to fill a car-carrier to the dealer. Less vehicles going to a dealer = harder to fill a car-carrier. But that's just my theory.

You are being ridiculous, not Ford. I guess you missed it when Ford replaced their main ground transportation carrier last year for underperforming? Beyond steps like that Ford has NO control over the ground transport piece of the journey. I guess you also weren't paying attention when it was reported there is a nationwide shortage of CDL truckers by 100K from normal? And, you didn't buy from Ford, you haven't "bought" anything yet- you placed a retail order through your dealer, and assuming you complete your purchase THAT will be from your Dealer too- NOT Ford.

Also, how has your weather been in Illinois the last couple weeks? Storms coming for the next week now too. You want the truck transport driver to drive through snowstorms or tornados and have a higher chance of delays or even accidents? I'm guessing no.

I purchased from the small local guy too and mine was ordered and built about same timeline as you, but we didn't have any weather issues getting trains to Albuquerque or trucks to SW CO- but there was a 2 week delay at the receiving yard. Here's a helpful hint (really), go visit your dealer and ask to see their Vehicle Visibility Report. It will show where your truck is currently. You'll be wanting to see Milestones like "received" at storage/transit yard meaning your truck is off the train, followed by "in Transit" meaning it's on the truck heading towards your dealer. My dealer called the transit yard after we saw "received" on the report and got a rough ETA on when it would get picked up and leave the yard. Your dealer should be able to do the same...

There has been ZERO weather related travel restrictions in Illinois, genius. Ignorance IS bliss!

I don't need to harass my dealer about delivery because it's out of his control.
