Wolfe Jet: I contacted my dealer about an update on our Maverick delivery date. His response was he has not had a recent update. Also, his last data point was in Illinois. I advised him our truck has been in Elkhart, Bellevue, WV and now in Virginia. He confirmed his dealership does receive trucks via Pertersburg,

When my dealer checked a week or so ago they said that it was in Mexico.
The NS location for autos in Petersburg is about 8 or so miles from my dealer.
Those of us here on the forums are much better informed than our dealers. NS says last checkpoint was Crewe VA so should get to the P’burg yard today.
Traded emails with my guy today he says it’s usually between 3 days to a week once off the train to get to the Richmond area, again backing up the ETAs we got from Ford, mine starting next Tuesday and you an Extra week to get to your area. If that holds looks like I’ll come in just under 500 days from order to delivery (489 today.)

Wolfe Jet & larryhokie: Looks like we are finally in the home stretch. It is too bad Ford does not keep its dealers or their marketing center any better informed of the location of trucks in transit. Soon the pain of tracking our order statuses will finally come to an end after over 1 year, 4 months and nearly a week.
NS says “AVPL“ in Crewe, and according to this post at our sister forum for F150 Lightning that means it’s at the ‘final ramp’ but looking at the Crewe yard on Google Maps, there’s no auto ramps there, so not sure what they mean… must.. stay.. patient.

Crewe is about 48 miles from the Petersburg NS auto destination. Crewe is a small yard these days. Years ago under N&W it had much more activity… coal line. Maybe tomorrow we’ll tell us more. The NS auto distribution area operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

@larryhokie @LastDog Either of you tried NS today? There’s been a couple of times during the tracking I couldn’t understand the town name - “Poe, VA”? Nothing in between Crewe & P’burg by that name…. Any ideas?

@WolfeJet, @larryhokie: After reading MTC posts about trucks with side airbag recalls and not receiving a Ford recall notice, I checked my VIN on NHSA and Ford recall websites. It has an open recall on NHTSA website, but the Ford site shows no open recalls. Unable to interpret that info, today I called my dealer, who agreed to resolve the status next week. A MTC posting has an 8/8/2022 NHTSA Safety Recall Report 22V-594, which says (1) affected vehicles have production dates 2/3/2021 through 7/9/2022 and (2) a “stop ship” was issued at the Hermosillo plant on 7/12/2022. My truck data: built on 7/9/2022 (with a microchip hold) and shipment notice on 10/1/2022. I wonder if part of the delay was due to the “stop ship” order pending the airbag recall fix. Have either of you checked your VINs against the NHTSA and Ford recall websites or received a notice that your truck is affected by the recall?

I’ve checked a few times. I did again just now. My VIN has 0 unrepaired recalls. My build was late Sept.
