My Mavrick Hybrid ordered in July 2021 could be delayed another three to four months

This morning my salesman called me to give me the news that my Mavrick Hybrid, RR, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 will be delayed three to four months due to Battery Pack overheating & they (Ford) will need to develop a new battery pack, harness or something to that effect. I've had my vin & Window Sticker since 3/24/22 & had at least five push backs on Production dates ending with this information. Based on this new news, I could be waiting until September/October before I receive my Mavrick. Anyone else receive similar information from there dealer? Been on order since 7/26/21.

I think that is sort of the point. This might be the first rumblings of a much larger hybrid specific issue. I hope not, but then again I am waiting on an EcoBoost....

I advised Tim Bartz of this & he was not aware of this issue, but acknowledged that his Brand Manager confirmed as true.

Sounds like they confused the Maverick with the Mustang Mach E.

I've seen several articles about this related to the Mustang Mach E.

But none at all related to the Maverick Hybrid.

I advised Tim Bartz of this & he was not aware of this issue, but acknowledged that his Brand Manager confirmed as true.

Yup he even showed the layout and identifed the part they are havig issues with. He also said this will delay Hybrid deliveries as well. He was asked about if he thought orders in Novemenrer wouls slip to MY23 and siad he thought so and went so far as sayig October orders as well..with that said he said but if Ford can ramp production up to 10k a mth that could change.
