My Maverick is Getting Wet

The dealer could not reproduce the leak. The only thing I did was push on the plastic touching the front windows to see if it was loose. I have not driven it in heavy rain again so I don't know if it is fixed or not.

This sucks for those affected, sorry to hear. Tha ks for the visibility for the rest of us though. Might make a point to leave mine when delivered outside in the rain to check this early on.

Inside air filter unit is inside the glove compartment...there a YouTube on how to open the panel in the glove compartment to look/see. If filter is wet bingo.
Wife had VW Jetta that had a really bad leak after a windshield was replaced...but can also be lack of caulking from the factory. Mold is not a joke...plumbing in my home leaked and had to have a pro remove the mold. If you see mold on insulation, carpet and padding it really needs to be pulled out and replaced at Ford warranty expense. Home Depot and Lowes both sell the number one brand mold remediator chemical around $15...

Well unfortunately the leak is back after leaving the truck in the rain a few days ago. Only noticed it because of the smell. Usually garage kept and it doesn't occur while driving in the rain.

water leaks are difficult to detect. some folks report water leakes from the high mounted brake light going inside the rear window.
Furthest right mayonnaise looking sealant seemed to be the fix (not sure). The staining from water flowing is where that wire harness enters or exits the firewall. They also had the cowl apart, most probable area for the leak.
Good luck! Ford wouldn't cover my floor mats (rubber and carpeted) even though they were ruined due to the stink. Mine is better with new carpets and jute, but that putrid smell is in the seats, headliner, etc. I've used sooo much anti stinky stuff, that IT now stinks... I don't want to talk about it any more.
