Mine would be the godawful rattles you get when driving on bumpy roads. It’s like a challenge of how loud it can get sometimes

turn up the music louder. 🎶
I traded in a 2023 Silverado Custom for my 2024 Maverick. A few small rattles in the Maverick when going over bumps, train tracks, rumble strips. The Silverado would drown out the radio no matter how loud it was and jar the fillings out of your teeth. I find the Maverick a smooth quiet ride compared to the Chevy or my 2014 F150.

Tow mode works great in hilly terrain and will downshift for engine braking when you briefly apply the brakes going downhill. If you need more engine braking than tow mode provides, then use "L".
I can see not wanting to smoke the brakes but , generally, I'd rather wear out the brakes than the drive train.

Engine braking won't put any more stress on the vehicle than driving down the highway would... even if it sounds like it does. The only risk is over-revving the engine and modern vehicles make it very difficult to do that as they'll force a gearing shift if the engine revs too high.

The Maverick was an economy compact car built on a unibody chassis, not a muscle car. The new Maverick is an economy compact truck built on a unibody chassis.
X2 the Maverick Car was never considered a Muscle Car with the 302 being the largest engine you could get in it.

Engine braking is better for control than using only the brakes and minimizes brake fade. Wear is minimal if not done over-aggessively.

On the next steep mountain pass you descend, ask yourself if you trust hot brakes or cool ones more in an emergency.

The name. Who's dumb idea was it to bring back a name of a muscle car from the '70's and stick it on a small pickup. Why not a name of a small pickup from the '70's and '80's that millions of people owned and have fond memories of: Courier! Nobody in marketing thought of that?

The 70's Maverick car wasn't exactly a "muscle car" unless you consider the "Grabber" version.

Not likely. It is less than a month old and there are no other indications of a battery issue.
It's one of the few reasons it deactivates itself. What is your battery voltage?
