From what I’ve gathered, Mullinax has a central group who places orders for all locations, which is why it takes a few extra days. You gotta trust the system and let them do what they do. There’s a reason every Maverick I see in central Florida has a Mullinax badge on it. I even saw two Mullinax Mavericks in the keys last week!
The problem is that Ford is shutting down pre-orders early. In this business-as-usual delayed order entry system, some folks are gonna get screwed. I suspect quite a few folks ordering a hybrid today are gonna get screwed. And 9 out of 10 sales guys don't know about these memos that we are seeing on this forum.

My e-mail from Ford came late last night (ordered mid-day Saturday). It shows copilot 360 but doesn't show the trailer hitch receiver which is clearly on the preview order. I guess that should be easy enough to fix.

The Order confirmation email from Ford will NOT show all options selected.

The reason isn't the outstanding customer service. Let's be real. The reason is more likely the cost to the consumer is lower than most other dealers in the Central Florida region.

True that’s a huge point, but I did my research speaking to each Ford dealer within a wide radius and Mullinax was the only to shoot straight. They’ve also gone above and beyond for my family when purchasing another pick up. Their price point can’t be beat and their reputation does hold weight.

I’m sure others have different opinions and experiences, but I have nothing to complain with how my orders have been handled. I know it ain’t on Mullinax for anything, it’s all Ford BS.

I went to my local Coggin Ford to see if they would match Mullinax. They won't ($800 dealer fee). There were no customers at Coggin and they weren't
even taking 2023 Mav orders unless you are a 22 order that didn't get built.

Was anyone required to sign a vehicle buyers order for Mullinax?
Yup! Had to last fall, but I dunno for any 23 or 22 roll overs.

I am going ahead and putting an order in at Mullinax in Kissimmee. I already have a 22 coming from Apopka and have a roll-over that did not schedule at another dealer so I'm putting one in there and hedging my bets. Worst case, if my rollover schedules at the other dealer, I will just cancel this one.

All I received was an email confirmation. Was I supposed to receive more?

That's all you will receive until your scheduled. If you got the build sheet and signed and sent it back to them, you are good to go.

Mine was all through text and email. I never received a build sheet to sign. I did however receive the email confirming what we had discussed.

Is this something I need to contact them about?

if you ordered through Mullinax- you should sign the DORA (preview order) submit DL, get buyers order signed and initialed , then place a $100 deposit.

I'm still trying to get something in writing and signed that says the deposit is refundable.

Yes, I would reach out. I think Ford said that COVP is not required anymore which signing is part of it, but in either case I would ask for the build sheet because it will show what you are paying for it. If down the road the price increases and Ford says you are price protected, you will need that to show proof of what the original price is.

Is anyone getting anything in writing about the 100$ despair they are putting down?

I was asked for 100$ which I knew I would be up front, but I also don’t make it a habit of handing money over to dealerships without the deposit and refund in writing.

I’m supposed to just fork over 100 bucks based on a wink and a nod.
