I read all these positive reviews of Mullinax. Always good to read positive reviews. However, my experience has not been the same.

I went to Mullinax in Apopka in February or March because the Ford website said they had Mavericks in stock. Well, they didn’t, but I later learned why the website says one thing, and reality says something else.

But that wasn’t the negative. The problem was I wandered through the lot and inside the showroom for at least ten minutes, and not once did anyone someone approach me. Didn’t even get an acknowledgement nod from anyone. I finally when to I guess what was the customer service booth and asked if any sales people were available. She got me.

He was pretty much not helpful. He was able to find a Maverick that was spoken for and let me take a look at it. But he never said anything about the possibility of orders or getting on a call list. I had to ask him about that. He also couldn’t give a rational explanation as to why their website showed Mavs available when they really weren’t.

Anyway, I went home, convinced I really wanted one, but I wouldn’t drive all the way to Apopka to get it.

My next experience (?) with Mullinax was New Smyrna. They did not respond to my inquiries. Well, my second time I tried to contact them they did. But that was my follow-up email to my second contact attempt when I explained that no one responded, either by email or by phone.

I did end up getting contact from two different dealerships, both closer. And both did continue follow up calls. I bought from one of them.

Not trying to slam Mullinax. I’m glad people are happy with them. And I hope they continue to provide good service. I just thought I’d share my experiences.

Ford automatically puts Mavericks on the site that are customer orders. On the Apopka site, they will usually say customer ordered. This is only if you go to the Apopka site. One of the Mullinax sites list them from all the locations and the other ones don't identify non-customer orders. Also, they are marking them up $4,000 at the moment. If one is available, they have a window sticker and you can see the price difference. Those ARE available for purchase. I looked this morning and they had 3-4 available to buy at the moment.

I placed my order with Mullinax Apopka last weekend. Worked with Esteban and was in and out in no time. Received email confirmation a few days later. I shopped around in Central Florida, and Mullinax was only dealer what was straight forward with me fwiw.
Esteban is a strait up guy I bought mine last year with no problems I have a eco boost fx4 with tow package he will deliver for u 2

If anyone is interested, Mullinax in Apopka has two Catcus Gray XLT Ecos on the lot. They are asking $2500 over MSRP where they were asking $4000 over a month ago. Guess things are starting to cool off now as people are waiting to order 23s.

I saw those ,and it looks like they are now $2500 over sticker, too bad one is not a hybrid, as I would pay that difference after waiting 10 months and nothing ! I ordered at Mullinax in Vero Beach. our ram dealer has a xybrid xlt maverick 2,800 miles should maybe sticker $26,000 ish, and its ON SALE for ONLY $43,000, they have had it 3 weeks now,our toyota dealer has had 2 f150 lightings at $50,000 over sticker,and they are both gone. I cant pay that!!

just an fyi, on Mullinax website,when you search maverick for sale, they now try to show the ones that are retail and for sale, so you can delete the others listed and see what is REALLY for sale.and you can see the sticker. as some places I noticed dont let you see it, hiding the msrp,as I saw the 2 mavericks listed above and they show ( retail)

Damn! I guess I shouldn't have removed my CP and LUX hahah. Whomp!

I have a hard time getting information from Mullinax Palm Beach. Most of the time, the salesman doesn’t reply to my voicemail, text or email.

Yeah, I posted on Facebook yesterday also and someone called and one of then apparently is a customer order. Usually at least Apopka has been good about noting which are customers but neither of those had it. Also only the ones actually available show marked up but both of those did as well. My Mullinax hybrid was finally scheduled last week but don't know if I wil take it or not. I have another order that will probably roll over to 23 and may take that one instead.

I have been waiting 10 months base xlt hybrid only a trailer hitch,ordered in Vero store,the worst ( to me) is nothing from ford, only my 1st email from then last Oct. Thanking me for the order.my sales guy has emailed me a few times. I have told them to reorder if needed to a 23 ,as soon as they can who knows ??
Yeah my salesman still has yet to reach out to me to tell me I'm scheduled.

it just stays crazy! they have one new one for sale its $3,000 over sticker,but they said they like to keep it as a demo, so I lookup up used they have 3, all at around $12,000 or so over sticker, they said they are going by KBB book value, just like the used one they sold at our Ram dealer, but that one was at over $15,000 over sticker,used, and its gone, I offered $1,000 over sticker on any of them, and they all said NO WAY . so it looks like my xlt hybrid with one opt ordered Oct 21, get recorded as a 2023 ,the salesman and sales manager said it would be put back in as soon as they can order!

I have an Oct 2021 order that was scheduled a month ago and moved three times. My salesman has yet to inform me that I'm scheduled. He probably doesn't even know. I would definitely reach out to them because I have ZERO trust that they would reach out to you to reorder.

Unfortunately my sales rep has no idea when order banks open, I even sent him the image from this forum showing the schedule dates. He's still looking for a VIN on my Jan order which wont ever happen. At this point I am driving to mullinax after work tomorrow because I am not going to get left behind on day 1 of MY23 orders.
