I bought my 2022 Ford Maverick used last week. I noticed the mud guards are in front of the wheels. Isn't this backwards? I've only ever seen them behind the wheels.

These are what I ordered as well and they are FANTASTIC! Especially for the price. Keeps the side of my truck clean and really protected from rocks and the daily grime from the road. And best of all, super cheap and simple to install. I actually added them to my truck before I left after going over it with my old coworker at the dealership on delivery day. Took me literally 5 minutes to put on (brought a small socket wrench, socket & flat head screwdriver with me).

And best of all, these don't touch the painted surfaces of the truck, like the OEM Ford Accessory ones. Some people have said they wear the paint off a bit because the Ford ones rub. Grab a pair and you won't regret it. 👍

The front flaps are the plastic pins that you remove, install the flaps, and put the pins in. The rear flaps are 2 pins and 2 screws. The screws are metric with bolt type heads ( I forget their special name). 05FordGT is correct. They are flat, so they cannot rub on the paint anywhere and do not require any kind of tape to protect the paint.

No, no drilling. Just remove the screws, put on the flap, and re-install the screws. Easy peasy.

Price is great. Reviews are really good. I'll add these to the wish list.

Lemon squeezy!! Best accessory for the $$$ So happy with them. Only thing you need to do, for the front, is to turn the wheel the same direction of the corner you are working on (drivers side, turn wheel to the left ) to have ample room to put them on.

Just so happy they don't touch the paint. They sit against the well liner. 👍
