Hello, I need to pick some brains here….
I just lost my second handicapped placard in the last year. The first one I thought must have fallen out of the truck and I went through the steps to get a new one. Then it happened again, and it wasn’t possible to have fallen out of the truck this...
It’s going to be parked in a public parking garage, so using a battery tender not a likely option. I’ll make sure AC and auto lights are off when I park it and do the remote start thing. I also have a jumper box that’s charged up and going with me.
I tried running with lights on yesterday and...
Good to know. I’ll put the charger on it tomorrow and get it charged up, then do the overnight reset and start running with my lights on. I want it to get a full charge because it’s about to sit for roughly 14 days during a trip.
It's been interesting reading through this thread, as I'm having the same issue with my gas-powered Maverick and my brand new AGM battery is reading a resting voltage of 12.1 -ish. They supposedly did a BMS reset when they installed, but I'm going to do the high beam/brake reset this evening...
I'll keep the Lithium battery in mind for when this one craps out in 2028. In the meantime, please walk me through the trailer clip fix, or direct me to where I can read more about it? Thanks.
Hello Fellow Ford Drivers,
I have a 2022 Maverick XLT AWD Gasoline engine. I replaced the battery in 2024 and just got another new one in 2026. I've read on the forums about the issue with the system chronically under-charging the battery. My brand new battery has a resting voltage of about...
I know it’s pretty common knowledge that the roll-up Tonneau covers are a bit too short. Does anyone have a solution for this, to close the gap between the tailgate and the rubber strip along the cover? My truck came with the cover and I don’t want to spend the money right now on replacement.
I bought my 2022 Ford Maverick used last week. I noticed the mud guards are in front of the wheels. Isn't this backwards? I've only ever seen them behind the wheels.
I have a Lund bug deflector for my 2022 Maverick XLT. The recommended minimum temperature for installation is 60F. The recommended minimum temp for 3M automotive tape, from what I could find, is 50F.
Has anyone installed a deflector at temps in the 50s (or lower)?
Thanks,
KJ
