So I have seen a few posts regarding MPG for the 2.0 Ecoboost. I have a 22 Lariat AWD 4K towing with 22K at this time. Didn't think much about not getting good MPG recently because of the heat and constant running A/C. However, I went back to the beginning of the year and that is when I noticed the MPG going down. In the past few months it has really nosed dived. I have been getting around 17-18 MPG, mostly in town driving. My question is has anyone else experienced this and have you been to a service department? My brakes seem to be a little grabby so they will be the first thing I get checked.

First check is the air filter and your oil. Beyond that take note of your driving habits. If you can't see gains then it's time for a diagnostics check.

I have the same set up. I'm a bit heavy with the foot and I'm reading 24 mpg as an average. Seems like something needs to be checked on your ride??

17-18 is about right for an EB in stop and go city driving. It only is better if your city commute has relatively low amount of stops and turns.

You get this in town driving, stop and go? Dang the best I ever got was 32MPG on a few trips that were 500 miles, set cruise control at 70. The last time I made that trip about a year ago only got 28-29.

My 22 FX 4 is getting 19/22 around town but highway miles it shines at 32 and at about 70mph with cruise on have gotten 38 all these numbers with AC on. On

I have a 22 EB XLT 4K AWD and I get shit in town mileage! I have taken it to the dealership and they say "it's about right".

I'm super easy on the throttle but I do live in a hilly area in SoCal (Laguna Beach) BUT my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek (2.0 AWD) got a SOLID 6MGP better in town.

I'm very frustrated by it but there seems like there's nothing the dealer can do.

My home town close to you HB and I do miss the area sometimes.

I have an fx4/tow pack and I get under 20 in my daily stop and go short hop driving. I maxed at almost 32 on a long highway trip where I was trying hard to maximize mpg's. As always, YMMV.

My start-stop around town driving MPG is between 20 and 21.

Went on a 3200 mile round trip to the East Coast a few month's ago, 80-85 mph on Interstates for 90% of the trip and mileage got up to about 25.5. About what I expected.

Posting for a data point. Granted this trip was 95% highway (about half @ 77mph, half @ 63 mph). MPG wasn't really a deciding factor for me when buying, but this is just impressive.
