'24 Hybrid XLT about to hit 6000 miles, I've had my second trip meter running since I took ownership of the truck. Through one long roadtrip out to San Diego and back, and probably 65/35 city/highway I've been clocking 39.3 MPG.

In the Tremor you don’t get them 30 +mpg like reg Maverick , but on recent trip on paper it bumped 28 on highway combined 60-70 driving, 70-75 interstate 27+, dash says 24 now after this drive, I know around home dash sets around 22+. It take a lot of miles to change readingI believe all tremor models are rated 20/24 mpg 22 combined regardless of XLT lariat trim 2023-2024. if you are getting 27 you are ahead of the game..nice
I get in the mid to high 20s with my XL.So here is the dilemma..
We are contemplating selling our tremor XLT awd to carmax this month and reordering a tremor lariat to get some features my bf wants.
It drives great. We don’t care what the eep owner social media posts say about off-roadThe most off-road we had is the church parking lot before it was paved so can’t see what that matters to us anyway lol
The issue is that it has had zero issues and gets 27 plus overall mpg even with mountain driving.
We don’t want to get a surprise with new one.
What mpg are other owners getting overall?
The 2024 Lariat is a few pounds heavier than 2024 XLT but may be the same as yours depending on options but the difference would be so slight as to be moot. The issue is that it has had zero issues and gets 27 plus overall mpg even with mountain driving.

I agree with you 100 percent. Do the math. My truck usually shows 30 to 30.5 miles per gallon. So far after over 2,000 miles I calculate 28.2 miles per gallon at the pump. I figure that the computer is .9335 accurate at this point. Or as you said, about 2 miles per gallon off.If folks are going to agonize over 2 or 3 MPG then we all need to agree that when quoting MPG that we are talking about calculated at the pump, not using the vehicle's guess you see on the screen.
Unless you have dialed in the MPG setting in Engineering Test Mode it could easily be 2 MPG off. I know mine was.
It makes me a little crazy to read this entire thread and not one person quoting MPG stated that it was calculated. But that's just me.
Yes I agree on the 60mph, but wasn’t even a mpg diff at 75mph, 28 best I’ve got and that was at7-8 thousand mi.. about at 10 thou mi now. My gas mpg on dash says 25 as most kinda town/country driveI've got a '23 XLT Tremor. Just passed the 25K kilometer mark. Driving Split is 50/50 city and hwy. The City driving is mostly flat while the highway portion is quite hilly. Overall average has been 8.9L/100km - so 26.4mpg. Pretty happy with that. I have noticed that on longer trips, the sweet spot seems to be 60 to 80km/h for the best fuel economy. That's where I usually see 30mpg.
I have a 24 lariat tremor over the 4800 miles I've put on it I averaged 24.3 which is a mix of city and hwy (75-80) here in west TexasSo here is the dilemma..

He is Canadian, as I am. He was saying the sweet spot is between 60 and 80 km/ hr, which is between 36 and 48 miles/hourYes I agree on the 60mph, but wasn’t even a mpg diff at 75mph, 28 best I’ve got and that was at7-8 thousand mi.. about at 10 thou mi now.
