MPG Calculater Adjustment. You can change setting for more accurate MPG Calculations.

A fellow Maverick owner gave me the gouge on how to do this. But I have a question for you software engineers. How much do you change the original setting in the settings of the truck? I was told to press the start button (Brake Off) on my Hybrid and the OK button on the Steering Wheel at the same time. An "ET" will appear to the Right of Power Gauge. Now you can scroll through many settings one being an MPG Adjustment setting. As you can see in the picture I lowered the factory set value from 1000 to 995 to see what happens. (Seems like the adjustment should be more for a 5% adjustment off of 1000 to lower 2 MPG, more like to 950 but I don't know.) Can any of you software engineers give the gouge on how much to move the value per 1 MPG change?

ok Thx.. just set it to 950 since I was showing 38 MPG when I actually was getting 35 MPG freeway driving

Maybe you can turn the AFE correction up above 1000 too, and make the dashboard estimate even higher! Then when you post pics of your instrument cluster people will be even more impressed. Might get the first 60mpg+ Maverick
