It's exactly what it means. I had this happen to me.

Your truck is done.

It left the factory and released to the shipping company, but not yet shipped.

Probably sitting a lot somewhere until ford can find you a railcar.
IF it's been released to the shipping company, then it's not up to Ford, but the shipping company. Why does everyone point their fingers at Ford?

If you are this sour, maybe the Maverick isn't for you, as I can see you nit picking this truck to death.

This IS the most frustrating time of the Long Wait. Because you can see your truck now exists … and it just has to get to you.

BUT — A word of caution that it MAY take longer than you’d think.

Our XLT was built 12/01/2022. Didn’t show as shipped until 1/02/2023 — another month. (Of course, this was over the holidays…)

But then it didn’t arrive at the dealership for another month — 3/02/2023.

It may happen a lot faster for you. Hope so! I’m just sayin’ … and there’s no way to predict it.

I have to agree. I waited over a year just to get scheduled, then a couple more months to get built.

The worst wait was after it was built and that took just over a month to get to me. Probably because it exists and I knew every day could be the day I get notified it's here.

When it didn't exist, the waiting was slightly easier when I had no expectation.

The tone of your post makes me wonder why you are sour, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees your post that way.

Whatever makes you happy sir/ma'am. I'm actually quite happy that my hybrid mav was picked up for scheduling and built/shipped within a week! :D

You're always right and everyone else is wrong. I won't be replying to you anymore because its not worth my time.

Again, I apologize and I hope you have a good day!

My wifes car shipped from the factory in Japan within two days of completing build. Took 10 days on a ship to the port of Tacoma. Then sat for a month at the port waiting to be placed on a rail car to the final railyard destination. Then another 6 days to be delivered to the receiving rail yard and another 10 days to be picked up by truck to the dealer. Terribly long process.

I can remember when you picked up the receiver and had to wait for Mable and Ethel to hang up before you could make a call:rolleyes: This was back in the 50s

I Know it's frustrating but that time frame is actually quite fast compared to other individuals who ordered. :) Here's why my Maverick took so long to get to my dealer. It was on the wrong train.

I saw the first mention of the Ford Maverick on a Ford trucks TV ad today. Things are getting better. I have only been waiting 6 months. The way I see it, I am 1/3 there. Or so. Maybe. we'll see.

I have a bet with my buddy that I get my Maverick before either GM or Toyota release their small truck. He says no way. We'll see. Patience and optimism makes life easier.
