I just talked to Emma (she is a pleasure to talk to btw) at 800-334-4375, Ford Marketing and indeed she told me my status was "Body Shop". She didn't know what that meant or how far along it is in the process, but could be paint or perhaps SIBL? No modules populated yet, but still exciting that something is happening.
I'm pretty sure "Body Shop" means the unibody is getting assembled, which is the first assembly step. Drivetrains are also done in parallel on a different line, before coming together. It's moving.

I'm pretty sure "Body Shop" means the unibody is getting assembled, which is the first assembly step. Drivetrains are also done in parallel on a different line, before coming together. It's moving.
So that means it is just now really entering production after 2 weeks. It probably got pushed but since I don't get emails from Ford I didn't know that.

Ask Ford Chat what your “secondary” status is. They will tell you “in production “, but they can also see the secondary. It should say body shop, or something else. That will give you a better idea of where in the stage it is at!
Thanks, XLT... Just called them and asked for the secondary status, which is "sent to plant" whatever that means. Anyone know? Is this about the paperwork or the truck itself? Blended? Something else?

Yea, sent to plant is the very first stage. Mine was there for atleast a week before it changed. That’s basically when you got the in production email and the window sticker showed up.

Yup, probably the spray in. Mine was built and modules populated shortly after body shop. I also had a Tonneau cover added to mine. Yours is almost there!

Interesting. I first saw the window sticker on the Ford Tracking site on May 21. Might have been there sooner.

I'm like many others here... "In production" but no other information than that. For all I know, there will be a build soon...or not.

I called Ford (800-334-4375) and asked why others get emails and I don't. The customer rep checked. My initial order had my correct email address but their database had a Gmail address that I don't have. No idea who put that in. Emails are now fixed, I hope.

He then told me that I should now get emails and to look for the first one in about three days. So, what do you think that email will say, if I get it...

I imagine it will tell me that my truck is "In production".

Sigh...
My truck started production on April 29th. It is still listed as in production. I called that number and they checked and had no idea where my truck was. They suggestion talking to my dealership and they know nothing. So you are not alone.

I feel your pain I placed my order on July 9th 2021 and I haven’t received any notification until today I received a vin# & build date which is the week of June 20th so don’t give up it’s coming and it will be worth the wait.

Call 800-334-4375 at Ford, say New Vehicle and then Maverick and have them check the emails so they can fix them. I hope having done that, I do start getting them. Worth a try.
