What are the odds that Ford will re-open new factory orders in the very near future, meaning within a few months? I procrastinated and obviously missed the deadline of last Thursday (I think that was the drop-dead date). Duh me......

I think the ordering bank for MY23 will open in August. Until then it's just trying to find a MY22 on the lot.

Yes it will be many months. If you want one soon, you need to contact dealers and/or watch websites to locate orders that are not picked up the person who placed the order.

August and you likely won’t get built/delivered until November /December at the earliest. I would bank on 1Q next year if your order day 1 in August. That is assuming all of the current orders get delivered for MY22. There could be a lot of carryover. Good luck finding one.

I think you are SOL until August, though it will be long after that before you see a truck with your name on it.

Glad I got my order submitted on Tuesday! Now I wait.

August 16th for all 2023 builds including the Hybrid Maverick,
Which you'd be getting it this time next year so your not really late. Plus maybe better options and they might even have all the bugs worked out!!!

Just find big dealers around you and look to see if they have ones coming in. I was just doing this earlier and found dealer ordered ones just arriving or coming in early march. If they have the window sticker for it you can track it. But you will have to put in the work, call and email the dealers and try and catch one before it lands.

I have an order put in but im picking up one someone else bailed on so I wont have to wait as long. So when the one I did order gets built, it will just be free for whoever to buy.

I am simply looking for an XL base, no bells or whistles. FWD Ecoboost is fine, or a hybrid would work too, but I know those are harder to find. And I am definitely NOT going to pay much over MSRP.

I have a FWD EB XL on order with a production date of 3/7, velocity blue, MSRP $22,575. I ordered it as a hold over until my hybrid arrives, likely late summer... but then I was offered a deal I could not refuse on a "between" car from a family member. I have still been debating taking delivery of this XL EB but it does not look like there is going to be much opportunity for profit.

Does anyone know if an order can be transferred?
